SLU's Pius XII Memorial Library was designated a Federal Depository Library in 1866,  (Depository #0323), hosting a strong historical collection combined with electronic access to current government information. We serve the students, faculty, and staff of Saint Louis University, as well as the citizens of Missouri's First Congressional District. As the Missouri Intrastate Regional Partner for the U.S. Air Force Depository Collection, we serve libraries and residents throughout the state by building and providing access to the most complete collection of U.S. Air Force publications in Missouri.

Materials published after 2000, as well as selected historical materials, are listed in the Saint Louis University Libraries Catalog with direct access to electronic resources. Research librarians assist with government information in all subject areas and formats. The majority of the Federal Depository collection is housed off-site at the Locust Street Library Facility; items are available through a variety of service delivery options and many are requestable through the SLU Libraries catalog. Questions specific to government information and depository collections should be directed to Federal Depository Coordinator Sarah Pugachev or to Government Documents Assistant Jesse Swoboda at 314-977-5611.

Please see our Government Information Research Guide for more information on Pius XII Memorial Library’s Government Information print and digital resources.

Additional research guides and a list of free and SLU-subscribed databases containing government information are also available.
