Important Policies
  1. Upon provisional acceptance to the ABM program, you will receive an email with a letter of provisional admission, and your Banner records will be coded to reflect your educational goal of pursuing the accelerated program. You will remain classified an undergraduate for the purposes of financial aid and scholarships until your bachelor’s degree is awarded.
  2. Per the University’s policy, up to 15 hours of graduate-level coursework may count toward both your bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Check with your undergraduate advisor and/or faculty mentor to ensure you are meeting the requirements of your bachelor’s degree program.
  3. Per the University policy, undergraduate students participating in the ABM program may only enroll in 15 credit hours (or five courses, whichever is greater) of bachelor’s and graduate-level courses.
  4. All graduate coursework will be credited toward your undergraduate program until your bachelor’s degree is conferred. You are expected to maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA to maintain eligibility to advance to the master’s level. Some programs may have additional expectations of performance in the graduate-level courses to advance to the master’s level (e.g., B or better in all courses). Consult with your graduate program coordinator upon admission to learn the expectations of your degree program.
  5. Per the University’s policy, no more than 6 credit hours of 4000-level coursework may apply to the master’s degree. Consult your graduate program coordinator about any program-level restrictions. Coursework taken at the 4000 level cannot count toward both your bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
  6. Any incomplete or missing grades must be addressed and grades entered before you can advance to the master’s program.
