SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital: SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is the main teaching hospital for the Orthopaedic Residency Program located on the main campus of the Health Sciences Center. It provides state-of-the-art tertiary and quaternary level services for adult patients for the entire region. It is the primary specialty referral site for adult trauma, reconstructive spine, hand and tumor patients. SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is a Level I trauma center designated both by the state of Missouri and state of Illinois and verified as such by the American College of Surgeons. The hospital has 356 licensed beds and one of the highest occupancy rates in the St. Louis area. The primary orthopaedic outpatient facility at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is at its south campus (previously known as Anheuser-Busch Institute or ABI).
SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital: SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital is a full service, free-standing pediatric hospital located on the main campus of the Health Sciences Center. It provides primary, secondary and tertiary pediatric health services for the city and region. It is the site at which virtually all of our pediatric orthopaedic training takes place, including Level I pediatric trauma, congenital and developmental disorders in the pediatric population. Both inpatient and outpatient pediatric orthopaedic services are delivered within the hospital complex.
SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital: SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital is the primary teaching hospital for Adult Reconstruction Orthopaedic Services. It is centrally located in metro St. Louis with 525 beds. SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital is a two-time winner of the prestigious Premier Award for Quality.
Mercy Hospital St. Louis: Mercy Hospital St. Louis is the only Level I trauma center in St. Louis County. It is ranked ninth in the country for integrated health care delivery by Modern Healthcare magazine. With 979 licensed beds, it provides a secondary, suburban option in trauma.
Des Peres Hospital: Des Peres Hospital is a 143-bed acute care community hospital in St. Louis County. The hospital provides quality medical and surgical services, including geriatrics, cardiology, bariatrics (surgical weight loss management) orthopedics, wound care and emergency care.
St. Anthony’s Medical Center: St. Anthony’s Medical Center is the third-largest medical center in Greater St. Louis with 767 beds. It serves families in the city and county of St. Louis, as well as Jefferson County, Franklin County, Saint Francois County, Sainte Genevieve County and Washington County in Missouri, along with Monroe, Randolph and St. Clair counties in Illinois.
